IBCLC home visit (Bangkok)

IBCLC home visit (Bangkok)

Home consultations last up to 90 minutes, allowing us to explore your concerns and answer all your questions without feeling rushed.

Seeing you in your own environment also means I can understand your baby's usual feeding patterns and help you where you feel most comfortable.

What to expect

During our time together, I'll carry out a thorough assessment of both you and your baby.

Depending on your circumstances, this may include taking a detailed feeding and medical history, observing a breastfeed, assessing positioning and attachment, examining your baby's oral anatomy, and (with your consent) performing a breast assessment.

You're welcome to ask as many questions as you like, and I'll ask plenty too, to help us put the pieces together to understand not just what is happening, but why.

Based on our consult and your goals, I'll create you an individualised care plan with detailed notes so you don’t need to remember it all. Whenever possible, we'll try practical adjustments during the consultation so you can feel more confident and clear on what to do next.

Consultation Fee: 3,000 THB*

Your consultation includes:

  • A home visit of up to 90 minutes.

  • A personalised written summary with detailed recommendations.

  • A week of follow-up messaging support for reasonable questions related to your consultation.

  • An optional 30-minute follow-up phone or video call within seven days, if you'd find it helpful to review progress or adjust the plan.

*Home visits are available within my standard service area, from Victory Monument to Lat Phrao. If you're outside this area, I'm often still able to visit: I'll simply calculate any additional travel time and costs in advance so you'll know the full fee before deciding whether to book.

When Annie came to our house for the in-person consultation, I was struggling with a 4-day-old newborn, engorgement due to the milk coming in, and mastitis because the milk had nowhere to go due to latching difficulties and unsuccessful pumping attempts.

During the visit, Annie was able to assess my baby’s latch, address my questions and concerns around milk supply and pumping in the absence of a good latch, and identify some immediate steps and action points for the most pressing issues (including the mastitis). It was so helpful that we actually called Annie in for a second in-home consultation. Over the two week period, we felt very supported, and I felt a lot calmer about building my milk supply after a rocky start.

I would definitely recommend Annie to others, as she helped us reach a point of success with building and protecting my milk supply in the absence of a good latch, and moving from formula supplementation to exclusive breastfeeding.
